Catholic Advance
The Diocese of Wichita is join- ing forces with a national orga- nization to assist efforts by other pro-lifers to minister to women who are pulling into the parking lot of the Wichita abortion clinic. Bonnie Toombs, director of the Respect Life and Social Justice Office, said last week that her of- fice is seeking volunteers to work with Sidewalk Advocates for Life, a national organization that it says involves actively encouraging a woman to choose life, empower- ing her to leave the abortion cen- ter." That is done in a loving man- ner, Toombs said, "to let them know that we're here as the Cath- olic Church to support them in a choice for life." The sidewalk advocates will also be there to pray, one of the strongest tools against abortion,
